Ann Kelly of Magic 94.9 - Event Emcee

Ann Kelly is celebrating her 23rd anniversary with Cox Media Group Tampa Bay.  Ann is the host of the "Late Afternoon Magic: on the New Magic 94.9.  Ann was named Radio Anchor of the Year by American Women in Radio and Television in Tampa Bay.


The Cleveland native proudly serves onteh Board of Trustees for Sunocast Hospice and the Board of Directors for the Arthritis Foundation and Religious Community Service.  She also volunteers on behalf of many groups including American Cancer Society, Dunedin Historical Society and Museum and Suncoast Animal League.  Ann is an animal lover in the extreme and hopes that everyone considers rescues first!

Prince Lorenzo Borghese, Royal Treatment


While you may be familiar with Prince Lorenzo Borghese from being featured on the hit TV show "The Bachelor" in 2006, his true passion is caring for animals.  He is the founder and spokes person of Royal Treatment Pet Products, which is made from organic products and sold around the country in pet boutiques. 


For the past several years, Lorenzo has been a great friend to the animals of Suncoast Animal League.  When he is in the Tampa Bay area promoting Royal Treatment on the Home Shopping Network channel, Lorenzo features our adoptable pets during his on-air appearences.


Lorenzo is also the founder of Animal Aid, USA and an Ambassador to the American Humane Association.  We welcome Lorenzo to his first appearance with Suncoast Animal League at the 5th Annual Dogtoberfest this year! 

Sunde Farquhar, Palm Harbor Patch


Sunde Farquhar is Local Editor for the online news sites, Palm Harbor Patch and East Lake Patch. Prior to joining Patch, she spent 16 years working as a journalist at TV stations in Tampa, Seattle, and Knoxville, TN.

Sunde and her husband are supporters of pet adoption. They adopted their Chow Chow dog named Daisy and both of their cats from animal shelters.

Julie Weintraub, Gold & Diamond Source


Julie Weintraub is Vice President of Gold & Diamond Source and Founder of Hands Across the Bay, a non-profit organization devoted to helping local charties in the Tampa Bay area achieve their goals through financial help. 


Julie has lived in the Tampa Bay area since 1987 and her entrepreneurial accomplishments also brought us The Dogwater Cafes and Classic Elegance Interiors.  Through her businesses over the years, Julie has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for various bay area charities.


With a great passion for animals and being a long time friend of Suncoast Animal League's Founder, Rick Chaboudy, she also fosters with Suncoast and adopted her dog "Mogley" in 2011 from Suncoast.  We are happy to host Julie as a judge for "Doggie Project Runway" for the 3rd year in a row.  Welcome Julie!


Katie Dolac, Dunedin Patch


Katie Dolac is the Local Editor for the online site Dunedin Patch.  She is the former print journalist and writer-editor for the U.S. Department of the Interior in Washington, D.C.  She has worked as a features reporter and editor at a few community newspapers in Virginia, including the Loudoun Times-Mirror and the Culpeper Star-Exponent. 


As an avid supporter of community events and lover of animals, we are pleased to have her judging "Doggie Project Runway" again this year.  Welcome Katie!

Nicole Woodring, Bright House


Nicole Woodring, a long-time employee with Bright House Networks Community Relations, works to help support over 200 different non-profit organizations in the Pinellas County region, include Suncoast Animal League. 


Nicole grew up in Dunedin, marrying her childhood sweetheart Keith 19 years ago.  Nicole and Keith have a beautiful 9-year-old daughter named Angelina.  After the loss of their beloved 15-year-old yellow Lab Kemosabe, Nicole, Keith and Angelina's family now includes their new love, a 6-year-old yellow Lab named Belle who they rescued from being euthanized with only hours to spare.


Nicole’s love of animals and her dedication to local non-profits makes her a perfect fit as a judge for our Doggie Project Runway contest.
